What we collect
When you sign, we ask for your name and street address, and optionally your email address and a short message.
Name and street address are required so that Council can see who is signing and verify that signers are residents of The Village of Weston. Email is optional.

What becomes public on this site
The signatures page shows each signer's first name and last initial along with the date they signed. If a signer chooses to share a short message and a site administrator publishes it, the message appears alongside that name.
Full names, email addresses, and street addresses are never displayed on this site.

What is presented to Council
All collected information will be compiled into a paper petition presented to the Village of Weston Administrative Policy Committee. That paper document is what Council reviews — it is the formal record.
Once the paper petition has been presented, any email addresses and street addresses will be removed from this site. What remains online afterward is the list of signers (displayed as first name and last initial) and any messages that have been published.
